CONFLICT MANAGEMENT AS THE KEY TO SYNERGISTIC IMPLEMENTATION OF CHILD SAFEGUARDING AND PROTECTION SYSTEM/POLICY

Overview:

One of the most critical factors in forming and sustaining formidable teams to run an effective Child Safeguarding and Protection System is human interaction and corporation. This is a factor that is often overlooked to the detriment of achieving synergy among individuals and groups working together to achieve Child Safeguarding and Protection goals or set of goals.

Module 2: Processes for Conflict Management in Child Safeguarding and Protection:

• Building a framework of processes for effectively managing conflicts in Child Safeguarding and Protection settings.
• Highlighting the importance of adhering to these processes to ensure the best interest of the child. 

Module 3: Conflict Management and Teamwork:

• Examining the relationship between conflict management and fostering productive teamwork.
• Identifying ways in which conflict management can enhance collaboration and cooperation among team members.

Module 4: Personal Factors in Conflict Management:

• Understanding the role of individual personality traits in conflict management.
• Developing self-awareness and self-management skills to effectively navigate conflicts in Child Safeguarding and Protection contexts.

Full Program: 1 day (6 hours): A comprehensive exploration of conflict management principles, processes, and their application in Child Safeguarding and Protection. 

Abridged Version: 3 hours: A condensed overview of conflict management, focusing on key concepts and practical strategies for implementing conflict management in Child-Focused Organizations.

Mode of Dissemination: Strictly Disseminated as an In-house Program to the entire team of a Child-Focused Organization, Physically or Virtually

Explanation: This course will be exclusively offered to the entire team of a Child-Focused Organization, ensuring that all members have the opportunity to participate. The program can be conducted either in-person at the organization’s premises or virtually, allowing for flexibility and accessibility.
